Each comment posted on the blog, which always follows the appropriate online behavior expectations, will be worth up to 3 points – evaluated on:
- Quality of written expression: Comment uses a formal, conversational language with limited grammatical errors within the context of the message.
- Content of the message: Comment appropriately extends upon the post to which it ties including additional information and opinions.
- Invitation of the conversation: Comment continues on a post/comment from another and inquires/invites future conversation from other contributors.
Your full name linked to your @myagsd.net address must be on the comment in order to receive any credit. Any inappropriate content will result in zero credit. Repeated behavior will result in an inability to participate in the blogging conversation and the opportunity to receive extra credit. Additionally any student found concealing/changing an identity for a post will lose the right to participate in the extra credit opportunity for the remainder of the school year. Exemplary comments including a great deal of extra links or information may receive up to an additional 2 points. Comments may be posted from any computer and must be completed by the specified due date of the marking period. You may earn points for up to 5 blogs per marking period.
